Meet the Coordinator

Tasha Smith is a Division I Official with 18+ years of officiating experience. She is the Coordinator of Women's Basketball Officials for the Sunshine State Conference, Gulf South Conference, and Peach Belt Conference; three NCAA DII Conferences in the Southeast Region. Tasha has been involved with NCAA DII Basketball over a span of 25+ years as a player, coach, official, and now Coordinator. She currently works for seventeen Division I Conferences. Tasha's NCAA Post Season experience includes: 2025 NCAA First Round and WBIT Second Round, 2024 NCAA First Round, 2024 WBIT Second Round, 2023 NCAA First Four Game, 2022 NCAA DI First Round Alternate, Sun Belt Conference Tournaments, ASUN Conference Tournaments (including 2025, 2024, & 2023 Championship Games),  MEAC Conference Tournaments, Patriot League Conference Tournaments, America East Conference Tournament, Northeast Conference Tournament, multiple NCAA DII Regional Tournaments, and several SSC Conference Tournaments. She has also worked multiple NAIA Conference Tournaments and JUCO Championship Tournaments. Outside of basketball, Tasha was an Elementary Physical Education for 19 years in Lakeland, FL.
